Feeling a little home sick I insisted we check out Muktuk Adventures for some dog love. Having two at home -- and I thought that was a lot to handle -- I could have spent all day with the 120 pooches that Frank Turner has.

Rather than being a place to look at cute canines, the award-winning Turner talks about his history with sled dogs.

Each of the dogs is eager to get some attention (and affection) and loves their freedom running around and interacting with guests. Frank shows the ins and outs of racing in the frozen Canadian north and explains how to train all year round.

Frank talks about how he cares for the dogs and what it takes to raise 120 of the animals. He goes into detail about the veterinary care and even costs of feeding the dogs.
